The Brewster Colonial Artillery Company and Yarmouth Minutemen will be encamped at the Brewster Historical Society’s Windmill Village at 51 Drummer Boy Road (adjacent to Drummer Boy Park) between 12 and 4 PM on Sun. April 21.
In celebration of Brewster in Bloom the Windmill Village will be open for free tours! Tour the 1795 Higgins Farm Windmill and Harris-Black House, and the 1867 Hopkins Blacksmith Shop, a working forge with blacksmith demonstrations.
In celebration of Brewster in Bloom the Cobb House Museum and Woodworking Shop will have an OPEN HOUSE with no charge! Tour the Museum and Woodworking Shop exhibits.

Showing off plants based on Caro Dugan’s colorful 1873 – 1878 diary entries, Bob will speak about how he designed the Cobb House gardens and offer professional tips for your own gardens and plantings. A complimentary heirloom plant and informative handout is included with the talk.

The Brewster Historical Society presents an author talk with Jim Coogan. Coogan is a storyteller. He's collected accounts and tales about Cape Cod for more than a half century. Featuring characters and events from the Cape's past, Coogan will present an informative and often humorous reflection on the history and mystery of Cape Cod. As a Brewster native, his talk will be full of anecdotes about growing up in the town and remembrances of people and events that have made Brewster special. The core of his presentation will be centered around themes featured in his recent book, Cape Cod Passage: People and Events that have Shaped the Narrow Land.
